Religious Offerings at Orchard Hill
Orchard Hill at Sudbury is known as an industry leader in Resident Services and offerings. A 20 year young, family-owned and operated Assisted Living Community with Independent Living options, Orchard Hill currently offers four types of religious programs for Residents.
Residents can partake in Jewish, Christian, Catholic or Protestant Services. Melissa Aulds, Director of Community Life, is responsible for the Community Programs and incorporates each Religion based on the needs of the population. Melissa comments, Orchard Hill’s ability to cater to each Resident is incredible and I’m proud to say that we can honor so many religions here at OH”. Current programming includes weekly Catholic Mass with Ecumenical Ministers and monthly service with a Priest. Protestant services at Orchard Hill are the first Wednesday of every month. Christian Bible study is every Tuesday afternoon and the focus is the Old Testament and Psalms. Jewish Shabbat services are the third Friday of every month with Rabbi Ruth and accompanied by our newest Resident, Edna. High holidays in all religions are also celebrated at Orchard Hill with the ability of the entire community to take part and enjoy. Here is Resident, Temma, at Shabbat service.
