Circle of Friends

October 18, 2023

Once a month, the Town of Sudbury Senior Center hold its “Circle of Friends” caregiver support group meeting at Orchard Hill. This skillfully facilitated outreach program offers an opportunity for those who care for someone with dementia to come together to share experiences, feelings and concerns, as well as learn helpful information. During the caregivers’ meeting, we welcome the individuals who have been diagnosed with dementia to join us in a planned community activity. Our Orchard Hill residents encourage and help these guests participate in the afternoon’s program, sharing kindness, friendship and smiles. This collaboration with the Sudbury Senior Center is a wonderful way for our residents to engage in meaningful ways with others and the greater Sudbury community.. And, the participants are greatly appreciative!

The “Circle of Friends” meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month in the Orchard Hill Library, from 1:30 pm -3:30 pm.
